The Kornberg Castle, situated in the southern part of Austria (East Styria), was first documented in 1284.
In its original form, Kornberg had a defensive character surrounded by a castle wall. Today, the castle is a two-storey building with a four-towered grand Renaissance courtyard hidden inside.
During the 16th and 17th century, when Kornberg was owned by the Freiherrn from and to Stadl, the once defensive castle was converted into a residential castle.
The chapel, consecrated to St Andrew, was built in the 14th century. founded. However, today's magnificent form was acquired mainly in the 17th century.
